The Collective Story
From a global volunteer movement to Malaysia's professional AI practice.
The four founders of AITC·MY met as Team Leads of the AI Collective Malaysia Chapter — the local arm of a global movement of 200,000+ volunteers dedicated to responsible AI awareness. What began as side-by-side community work — university outreach, public education, AI safety advocacy — became a shared diagnosis of where Malaysian organisations were getting stuck.
The pattern was unmistakable. Enthusiasm for AI was everywhere. Structure, governance, and readiness were not. Boards approved AI as a priority. Teams ran pilots. But the path from interest to internal capability — and from capability to deployed projects — kept breaking down.
AI Transformation Collective Malaysia (AITC·MY) was founded to close that gap commercially. Not as a single consultancy with a fixed bench, but as a collective: accredited trainers, domain consultants, and solution providers assembled under one engagement framework.
